Queensland's coastal and lifestyle areas are still recording sales shortfalls but signs are evidence that other areas are picking up. Over the 3 months to December 39.4% of all homes sold on the Gold Coast recorded a loss followed by 34.5% of sales on the Sunshine Coast and 33.8% of homes in the Far North region (Cairns and surrounds).
Nationally sales at a loss has reduced from 13.5% to 12.5% from the previous quarter. Brisbane is currently at 18.9% of sales.
