City house prices rise Dwelling values across Australia's combined capital cities rose 1.6% in the past three months, despite little movement in August. RP Data says city home values were unchanged in August, after rising 1% in June and 0.6% in July. All capital cities logged capital gains over the last three months, except Adelaide. At the end of August, dwelling values across Australia's combined capital cities were down just 0.6% in the first eight months of the year compared to a 2.2% year-to-date loss in May. |
